Introducing SWIC's Mental Wellbeing Support Service
The South Woodford Islamic Community (SWIC) is pleased to announce the launch of our new Mental Wellbeing Support Service. This service aims to provide support and guidance to members of our community who may be struggling with mental health difficulties.
About the Service
Our Mental Wellbeing Support Service is designed to offer a compassionate and non-judgemental space for individuals to seek assistance with their mental health needs. It is important to note that this service is not a counseling or emergency service but rather a support service offering listening and signposting to help you navigate your challenges.
How It Works
Currently, we are accepting inquiries via the form on the website. Our dedicated team of volunteers from diverse professional backgrounds stand ready to assist you. Whether you need someone to listen, provide resources, or offer guidance, our volunteers are here to support you on your journey towards better mental wellbeing.
Our Commitment
At SWIC, we understand the importance of mental health and its impact on our community. We are committed to creating an inclusive and supportive environment where individuals can feel comfortable seeking help without fear of stigma or judgement.
Get in Touch
If you or someone you know is in need of mental health support, please reach out to us by completing the form. Our team will aim to respond within 72 hours and with the utmost confidentiality.
While we work towards establishing a telephone service in the future, we encourage you to take the first step and contact us via the form. Together, we can foster a community of understanding, compassion, and resilience.
Remember, you are not alone in your struggles. SWIC's Mental Wellbeing Support Service is here to walk alongside you on your path to better mental health.
